The CX320 card printer is engineered for government agencies and other organisations to meet heightened safety and security requirements that drive demands for smart card and unconventional card-material photo IDs.
The CX320 prints edge-to-edge on plastic cards using a re-transfer film, a technology that offers a layer of protection for printed information. This technology also allows you to print high-quality photo IDs on a variety of card surfaces, including non-PVC materials that offer significantly higher durability than traditional cards.

For high security applications, this printer can be combined with the optional CL-500 in-line single or dual-sided card laminator. The unique re-transfer process ensures that even uneven card surfaces can be printed without a blemish. Ideally suited for high security ID cards, as well as high quality loyalty and membership cards.

Sometimes size does count: especially at major high security events or international conferences where visual security identification is high on the agenda.
Whether it is a rock concert or a World Cup Final, Large Format Plastic Cards are ideal for visual identification. Small cards with standard dimensions can be ineffective in mass gatherings. Large Format Cards are currently used at international sporting events and is being implemented at APEC 2007 in Australia with all delegates issued with a specially designed Large Format Card with smart chip.
Whenever necessary, integrated contactless chips can also be encoded within the same process, providing even greater security for your meeting or event.
  • Pre-printed large format cards sized 124mm x 87mm can be personalised with a print area of 86 x 54mm
  • Ideal for security events such as conferences with a need for high visual security
  • Also ideal for security events such as sporting and music events

Our mission is to be a home away from home for families of seriously ill children.

Our House opened its doors to families in 1981 at Camperdown and moved to its Westmead location in November 1995. In that time thousands of families have spent nights at the House while their child has received treatment at the nearby Children’s Hospital. Without the generosity and support of corporate and community groups, volunteers and dedicated staff the home away from home atmosphere at the House would not be possible. It is a fact that a family’s love is powerful medicine and a strong source of courage. The children whose families we accommodate have life threatening conditions and along with excellent medical care, they need their family nearby for comfort and reassurance.

“When we first arrived at the house we had just a few things and had no idea that we would be away for so long. We spent just over eight months there…. In the last few months we have had to return to the house many times. Every time we open that door we are always greeted with open arms, we feel safe and secure.” says one happy family.

Australia is hosting the 2007 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. The provision of security for APEC 2007 will be the most significant dignitary protection ever in Australia’s history. There will be up to 100 days of ministerial, officials’ and business meetings and events across Australia culminating in the leaders’ week in Sydney.

Expert AFP personnel will be deployed to key APEC meeting sites, supported by the provision of criminal history checks, investigative, forensic and other security support services. The AFP will also provide a Firearms and Explosives Detector Canine capability for the 2007 APEC year, which will allow firearms and explosives searches to be conducted in support of the relevant State jurisdiction at the numerous meetings across Australia. ASIO is providing security advice and intelligence to police and Australian Government agencies involved in APEC security.

Responsibility for the development and delivery of the whole-of-APEC integrated accreditation and access control system will be with the APEC Taskforce in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. The system will integrate border control and other security checks, as appropriate, from several agencies. It will gain efficiencies by using tried and proven technology and include several levels of redundancy. To cope with changes in the threat or security environment, the system will be flexible to accommodate increased security measures that may be applied at short notice.

From March 17 – April 1, 2007 Melbourne will play host to one of the biggest events on the sporting calendar, the 12 th FINA World Championships. The event features five aquatic disciplines, swimming, diving, water polo, synchronised swimming, and open water swimming, and will attract an estimated 2000 athletes from 175 countries to Melbourne.

The 12th FINA World Championships will provide a welcome boost to Melbourne’s green heritage, with water used in two temporary pools to be reused by the Royal Botanic Gardens and the City of Melbourne. The World Championships will see 2000 of the world’s best athletes from 175 nations in the biggest lead up event to the Beijing Olympics.

Five competition standard pools are needed to accommodate all the athletes across five aquatic disciplines. "The Australian Scout jamboree was held at Elmore in central Victoria in the first 10 days of January 2007. It is a national scouting event attracting more than 9,000 scouts and 3,000 adults from all parts of Australia, as well as a reasonable number of overseas participants.

ID Warehouse supplied most of the ID requirements for the Jamboree.

Approximately 8,000 swing tags with photo ID were printed by the crew at ID warehouse, and the balance were printed on site by a very hardworking (but reliable) Javelin printer. ID warehouse also supplied 10 colour coded variations of lanyards for all participants, and a large range of coloured Tyvek wristbands which were used to identify daily visitors as well as splitting the scouts for activities.

The support given by the ID Warehouse team in the lead-up to the Jamboree (and during the event) was fantastic. Help was always at hand with technical advise during the preparation stages, assistance with selection of suitable products, and gentle reminders and follow up to meet deadlines. Deliveries were always made as promised.
The extra support from ID warehouse was most appreciated"

Companies manage visitors with one of several systems today. The first and most basic approach is a manual system, in which a visitor presents credentials to a receptionist or security officer and signs a logbook. At a minimum, the entries should include the visitor's name and company, the date, the time and the person being visited. more>>
