ACTAtek smartcard supports a wide range of card technologies, which include Mifare, Legic, contact smartcard, HID proximity and i-class, as well as, EM & Barcode technologies, ISO 14443, 15693. The 3 available modes are 1000, 3000 and 10000 users. This gives the consumer the option to choose the card technology they want – without limiting them to any platform .

The benefits of using ACTAtek, as opposed to existing smart card systems, are manifold. For instance ACTAtek can be accessed via the web. So even if an employee loses his/her card, fraudulent entry can be avoided after office hours when ALL accesses to the premise is denied. Moreover with a built in CMOS Camera above the LCD screen, a snapshot of all attempts, including rejected attempts are stored in the database.
